Positive or Negative?

Polarity is a constant in our communication! One is positive, the other is negative; one is good, the other is bad. Anyway, I have been hearing these kinds of categorizations for a long time…

Looking at it from the perspective of energy, this makes no sense! Energy is neutral. It is the way we use energy that can be positive or negative.

Let’s look at a battery: it contains stored energy and can transmit it through its positive and negative terminals. In the case of Human Beings, we could say that we are the battery, and that we are positive or negative in the way we relate to others.

The responsibility for maintaining our energetic balance belongs solely to each one of us. It has nothing to do with the people around us.

When we are faced with someone who is out of balance, nothing obliges us to become like that person. That is not empathy; that is sympathy — and sympathy is pity disguised as a smile.

Therefore, we must choose how we want to live, use, and share the energy that makes us who we are.
